Bake your cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet on the center rack of the oven at 325 for 20-25 minutes. Give each cookie like 2” space around it. They’re huge. You’ll get 6 on a regular baking sheet.

Everyone’s oven is different so keep an eye on them after 20 minutes. They’re done when they’re golden brown and look done. You know what a done cookie looks like.

If you take your cookies out of the oven after 15 minutes and drop the baking sheet onto your counter from a height of about 4”, your cookies will turn out better. I don’t really understand why but that’s a great tip.

Finish the wookie cookie and the crownie with flaky sea salt if you have some.

Your cookies will spread when baking. If you want perfectly circular cookies, do this with a cookie-cutter or a small, upturned bowl after 15 minutes and then again when they come out the oven:
